You've seen the one on Sunset and sipped in its views over signature cocktails; now head downtown for a more urban version of same. Located on Flower Street, the roof top bar is a chic 60s-style poolside lounge done up in swirls of red and white, with various squishy couches to lounge on with your mates and check out the babe-rich action. This being Loose Angela, there's a projector screening Hollywood classics on the wall of the next-door building, and waterbeds to lie on by the pool while gazing at the LA skyline. Drinks are pricey but tasty - try their mojito for size - and when you are bored of the sun or a little bit tipsy, head inside for a spin on the dance floor.

This is more of a "chill" spot to hangout. Elevator at the Standard will take you to the rooftop where there is a pool and beer garden. Really relaxing atmosphere with the city lights view. The decor and details of the rooftop is just amazing. Bring your friends out there at least once. Definitely a good change from the club scene.

The pros:-wonderful views of DTLA
-nice seating options (chairs, sofas, waterbeds)
-very classy yet relaxed atmosphere
-no cover on weekdays
-HEATLAMPS
The cons:
-can get cold
-cover even for girls on weekends
-tad pricey on drinks
