Candles illuminate this sleek lounge and the way the light flickers off the vaulted copper ceiling provides a delightfully mysterious environment for a chance encounter with a flirtatious off-the-clock model. This bar also boasts a menu of Asian tapas to munch on while you people watch. Arrive on the early side to get past the strict doormen who swears there is no guest list.

My first visit here was in 2009.... so different nowadays... it was the spot to be at back then... now it just seems so small and dingy. Really dimly lit inside... the crowd looks a lot different too now... hipster-ish. They usually play house music which is what I like and the bartenders are nice... but I have friends who REFUSE to go to Hyde anymore.
