Belasco is the immaculately revived theater in Downtown LA which is renown for its classical intricate adornments as well as the hip crowd it attracts. The venue is set up with an chic seating area in the balcony that overlooks the dance floor with a gorgeous ceiling that seems to emanate light from the skies. Given the location and popularity, this is definitely a venue you want to plan for through The Royalist.

i usually go to belasco on saturdays. definitely asian night on saturday. venue is pretty nice. line gets long fast so get there around 9:30 if you want to get in as early as possible. my friends and i usually get on the guestlist so that we don't have to pay. make sure you're dressed in the right attire... no sneakers. it seems to be the spot right now and i usually have a pretty good time so i'm giving it 5 stars

it's a huge venue. so many areas to just chill or dance. it's an actual theater so the decor and interior architecture is just ridiculous. usually a longggg line.. so make sure you get on a guestlist or buy a table! like the person above me said... if you like asians.. come saturday.

All in all it was a great experience. As other users stated, get on a guestlist so you dont have to pay cover. Youll still have to wait a bit unless you get there early though.

went there saturday night. we got there at 10:30 and the line was SOOO long we didnt expect to get in...plus we weren't on teh gueslist.. but our girls/guy ratio was pretty good so some bouncer or promoter handpicked us from the line to enter from the back right away. it was pretty sweet! we expected to wait for at least 45 min. it wasn't too packed when we were in but at around 11:30 it started to get really crowded. the music was ok but they need to play more of a variety of music. saw a couple people i knew there so that was fun. i'm actually thinking about going back this weekend!
